ESAB provides specialty solutions for unique customer requirements, including customised panel-cutting machines like the Telerex for shipbuilding block assembly lines. By incorporating an automated cutting step after assembly of the panel, accuracy is vastly improved, and a number of process steps can be automated for greater efficiency. This includes panel marking with text and layout lines, primer removal for stiffener weld joints, weld joint line marking, interior cutouts with bevel cutting, and automated bevel cutting of the panel periphery. The Telerex is designed to provide precision support for large combination process stations and can carry the newest technologies, most advanced tools, and most complex processes available. Infinite rotating plasma bevel heads, fully-automatic triple-torch oxy-fuel bevel systems, integrated sandblasting tools, grinding systems, marking tools in all variations, and on-board filters for dust collection create a complete cutting system ideal for the shipbuilding industry and for other large plate processing applications.

The Combirex CS is a rugged 3-axis heavy-duty gantry design for smooth, accurate motion, delivering high quality cutting performance. With high speed AC drives and a high speed plasma lifter, you can achieve higher productivity and high quality plasma cutting. Equipped with one plasma and one oxy-fuel torch, the Combirex CS can cut a wide range of materials.
